What are your counselor’s qualifications and credentials?
Counselors and Therapists providing services at Port Orange Counseling Center are professionally trained Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Registered Interns in one of these two fields.

What kind of counseling do you do?
Anxiety, Depression, Relationships, Anger, Grief, Addictions, Co-Dependency, Post Traumatic Stress, Eating Disorders, Cutting, Individual Counseling, Veterans and/or Their Families, Marriage Counseling, Family, Teen, Children, and more.

What are your hours?
All clinical sessions are by appointment, please call in advance.
The office is open 9:00am to 8:00pm (Mon-Thurs) and 9:00am to 3pm (Fri-Sat).

Do you accept Insurance?
No, but we have a sliding scale that allows clients to pay only what they feel they can afford to pay. We can also provide a form and receipt for services that allow clients to apply for reimbursement for services.

Are Sessions Affordable for Almost Everyone?
YES , we believe money should never stand in the way of good counseling. We also believe that clients are adults and are well aware of what they can afford to pay. So we never request proof of income. We simply ask that you glance at our sliding scale fee chart. [LINK]. These are suggestions of what you might pay depending on family income and size. We accept Master Card and Visa. Check or cash payments are also accepted and due at the time of service.

How long are sessions?
Approximately 45-50 minutes.

Do you have to be a follower of Christ to obtain services?
No - ANYONE regardless of religious belief is encouraged and welcome. Our mission is to provide quality, professional counseling services to the entire Central Florida community.
